Our Initiative
UMCyberSafe is a pioneering cybersecurity education initiative developed by the Centre of Research for Cyber Security and Network (CSNET) at Universiti Malaya. Our Safety and Privacy Awareness Module is designed to empower individuals of all ages to navigate the digital world securely. Tailored for kids, parents, educators, and professionals, this comprehensive program covers essential topics such as protecting personal information, recognizing scams and phishing, ensuring safe online shopping, and understanding digital footprints. We provide actionable insights and best practices to foster a secure online environment, promoting responsible digital citizenship for families, schools, and workplaces. With a focus on practical, easy-to-understand content, we aim to create a safer, more informed online community.
